Abstract:

Aquaculture ponds produce aquatic products for human being, and can regulate the microclimates through evaporation of the ponds and transpiration of the surrounding vegetation.Accurate assessments on the ecosystem services value can help stockholders correctly measure the contribution of the industry to the society, provide a scientific basis for proper decision and further study in the field of evaluation of pond aquaculture ecosystem.Taking Dianshan Lake in Qingpu District, one of the water conservation areas in Shanghai,as the study area, based on the observed data and the relevant statistical data, this paper quantitatively analyzed the ecosystem service value of the microclimate regulation. The result showed that this ecosystem service value in the water conservation area was approximately 179.4 million yuan/a (18343767 yuan/(hm2a)).This value varied significantly with the change of the seasons.
