Abstract:
Based on information entropy and previous studies,taking Wuhan urban ecosystem(WUE) from 2000 to 2009 as an example,with the calculation of inputoutput entropy inflow,metabolism entropy production and total entropy in WUE,this paper analyzed the rule and reasons of dynamic evolvement in WUE, and then used the indexes of integrated development degree and harmony development degree to assess the level of sustainable development of WUE.The results indicates that the system entropy inflow and total entropy decreased with losing of time,but entropy production first increased and then decreased.This implies that urban health level improved continuously but unsteadily from 2000 to 2010.Both integrated development degree and harmony development degree increased in recent years,indicating that WUE was in the state of sustainable development,but still in the primary harmony development level
